Somalia is often described as the "Nation of Poets." For centuries, our history, laws, and wisdom have been carried not in books, but in the memory of our people through oral literature.

The Somali Heritage & Literature Digital Archive was created to preserve this rich tradition in a digital format that is accessible to the global diaspora, researchers, and students.
